Diary 2-15; Take over my late grandfather's work

Last Sunday, my father took over his late father's housework for the first time. That is to prune down a tree.
My home's garden is surrounded with many kind of plants, but it's by no means large one. The garden is regularly trimmed by my mother and my late grandfather. However he was advanced age, his work was so hard. Climbing the tree, and cut off some branches by a handsaw. I used to respect him.
He was gone now, so then my father tried to do the work. I was gazing at him climbing, cutting and the end, while praying that he doesn't be hurt.
He became skilled in that little by little, I felt relieved.
Therefore, I took some his pictures! I kept saying "You are cool dad!! Whew!!" while he was working. He grinned. The pictures are here. What do you think? It's nice, right?
After that, many branches cut off are collected. My mother and I carried and burned them. A lunch after the work was really delicious!
I understood that how much hard the work, and my grandfather used to work for us. He was so great. I think that we have to take over other his works, and keep them for our happiness.
