Hello guys! Now, I'm in a library in Ohzu.

I haven't free time. Today, I have to finish ALC power wards and a movie review about "The color purple".

The story is so heavy, but contents many important things that we should know. There are Gender problem, black discrimination and women discrimination. I think you may know this movie, because it's popular.

I have a hard time trying to write the review, but I want to make it persuasiveness.

Diary 2-14; Too comfortable to go out...

Yesterday, I was in my parents' home, Ohzu. There is always a relaxed atmosphere, especially the living room. Because there is a Kotatsu!!

Last night, I mistook. I was dozing over in Kotatsu while painting a manicure on my nails. And what was even worse, I slept away from 1:00 am t0 5:00 am!!

As soon as I awoke, I noticed that the light has went out, and the switch of Kotatsu also has went out. Then I thought "Oh it's awkward.", because I was convinced that my mother is getting angry and may fall asleep. Also the person who turned off the light is her. Then I stealthily moved to my room to sleep again.

This early morning, I said "Hi! good morning mom!" with a look of innocence. But sure enough, my mother was angry with me. Whew...I'm very sorry mom.

FW 2-04; Well Kept Secret Of Kumamoto

Do you know "SLAM DUNK"? It's the most popular Japanese comic of basketball. A lot people read it had started to play basketball. Because basketball wasn't popular in japan before the comic was published. The comic is loved not only by Japanese, but the nations of the world. Of course, I love it best!!

Its heroes are "Syohoku(=翔北) high school basketball team", and the coach is "Anzai(=安西)". He looks just like Mr.Kernel of KFC!! The character is so charming and kind, but secretly really strict like a devil! But actually there's a rumor that the model is a former basketball's coach in Kumamoto Kokufu high school!! I don't know who started such a rumor, but it's a well-known story.

The cartoonist is from Kagoshima, battle, and I think so, too. So I guess that he saw the coach when a basketball much was held, it seems. They say that Kumamoto is a area where is the site of a hard fought basketball Kumamoto, there are more many models who are basketball player in this comic. I hope so.

Diary2-13; EW staffs party!!

On Friday, November 21, a English Weekend party was held at Happy Fish in K.City after school. The members were Mr.Tomei, Mrs.Judy and the more than 20 staffs!!


Mio and I went to my home as soon as the last class finished. Because we had some free time before the party. So Mio looked like happy. In my home, I served a cheese cake and soup to her. We ate it together while being warm in Kotatsu. She was so glad and ate up all. I was glad, too. After a short time, we left home on foot.

All members got together at 6:30 pm, and started to eat and drink from 7:00 pm. The bar was full of a romantic atmosphere, like a cave or forest. All dishes and drinks were so good, especially Mizore-mabe and Chinese white pudding. By the way, Lexy was in my front. She was eating a few shrimp fritters with great relish. I asked her "Hey, which Japanese food do you like?" She answered "Gyo-za!!" You know, it's Chinese food. She is funny^^
We took a lot of pictures while eating. I'll past them later. And I guess that the most overeating person was me! I was full so much!!


After that, some friends went home, some friends took a Purikura and continued the party at Karaoke!! Of course, I was the latter(*`w`) We(11 people) were separated 2 rooms thought, we frequently came in and out each rooms.

First, room 204, there ware Tomoki, Yuki, king, Mio, Fai and me. We enjoyed singing! But...when I visited another room 206, there was a crazy room!!!!!!! Lorrie was loudly singing, Tom was shouting, and John was dancing!! On the other hand, Tomo and Yukari looked like sleepy. I felt a little earache, but burst out laughing. We sung for 4 hours up to 3:00 am. It was soooo fun!!

I think Eibei students and exchange student have made more strong friendship. I love all of the friends. I want to keep joining Eibei events as I can.

Diary2-12; I love Natto~!!

Today....? Oh, yesterday I cooked "Natto gratin" for my breakfast. You think it's strange cooking, right? But it was soooooooooo delicious for me, because I love natto!!!! I know that Natto smells bad, but it's great healthy food!! Besides, Natto is used various dishes. For example, curry, toast, Ocyazuke, Okonomiyaki and so on. So I think Natto is king of Japanese food.

Look again the picture. I didn't use not only cheese, but any oil in the gratin. It's so law-fast. Though it was really mild and creamy. I want to make one again!

Why you don't eat Natto for your health, hum^^?

ES2-04;Special P.E. class~Community life~

I belonged to a girl's basketball team in P.E. special course, in Ohzu high school. The P.E class was composed of member of avec basketball team, boy's soccer team and strangely art club, too. Almost students in this class entered on a recommendation system, after each technical test. I'm also that. As a big feature, among 7 classes, only our class didn't class changing all the time. It's so rare system among the high school.

Our class had semiannual lesson outside the school. 1st and 2th-grade students go to 3 days camping in summer, and 2 days skating in winter. 3th grade only go to play golf for 2 days, in summer. The most interesting memory is camping with 2st-grade students when I was 1st-grade. the place was a hill in Aso Takamori.

In June 2004, we were young students just out of junior high school, so 2st-grade students kindly behaved to us, and taught many things about special P.E. class. all of them were great soccer or basketball players. Some players have enrolled in the J-league, some players joined a special prefectual basketball training for the national athletic meet. They looked like all stars of athletes. But they and we friendly enjoyed camping First day, we built some tents in cooperation with. After that, we cooked and ate curry-rice for lunch. Then, we played a natural game "Walk rally"!

Therefore, all of us were as friendly as looks like brothers.We were always considered a paragon of the school, and we always have to win at a lot of mach. So teachers' behaving was strict especially to our class, for that we grow up our personality and as good player. Of course we ware trained not only sports technique, but study.

Besides, we hardly had a holiday. Our class was usually the most comfortable, cheerfullest and interesting, but in the gym(or the field), we strictly used to train everyday, every time.
So I often thought "I wanna escape! I wanna retire!!" These days were too hard to pass without a lot of tears for me.

But now, I have a stronger mind than before, because of these days. And I got a lot of friends who practiced each sports and trained our minds and bodies together. I think that is just the thing the concept of "Community". Many people don't see such a precious experience very often. Sometimes seeing basketball game and the album reminds me of the hard days, but I always never forget to thanks for them. I can say "Thank you the hard community life!"

Diary2-12; Got a cold...

Today, I completely got a cold. I have a sore throat from yesterday. Then I tried to take steps to repulse last night, but that was nonsense.

So today, it's first time to absent from part-time job in illness. A short time ago, I told my chief my absent by phone. And in lunch time, Mio and Risa.S kindly cared about my condition. They told me that I should go home and sleep now, they will note next class for me. I really thanked to them!! Moi, Risa, thank you so muuuuuuuuch(ゞ3')=★

Diary2-11; Delicious=Healthy

Today's my each meals were so elaborate! So it was a happy day!


First, a breakfast. I cooked "Oyakodon", because it can be finished fast besides, low cost. And I love it anyway!! The materials are chicken, onion, egg and seasoning, that's all. It was so good and juicy. The salty-sweet taste and fluffy egg is loved by almost Japanese. So if you haven't ate it, you should eat!!

Next, lunch. I brought a Bento I cooked. The contents are Oyakodon that was cooked in this morning, kiwi, vegetable pickles(home made) and Okara ball. Okara is soy bean fiber left after making tofu, do you know? It's more nutritious than tofu, but low-calorie. It contains many dietary fiber. Besides, really really cheap!! It's around 50 yen per 400g. We can get it any supermarket. Okara can be use to meat ball, roast, cake, cookies and so on. So I love it, and usually I stock it in my fridge. The Bento was tasty and really healthy.


Lastly, dinner. I cooked a low-fat pizza!! Look the picture left side. Can you believe that I didn't use any flour, oil and cheese!? I only used a potato instead of flour. And I used mashed Tofu instead of sauce and cheese. First, slices of potato put on a oven paper without pile up, and heat it to be crispy. After that, put sauce and various ingredients on the potato. Finlay, put Tofu sauce (mashed and seasoned by Miso, pepper, lemon juice etc.) over that. Heat for 5 to 10 minuets, finished!! The healthy pizza is my impulse dish. I often think over to good dinner using leftovers materials. Needless to say, it was soooooooooo delicious!! I'll cook one again soon!!

Good meal make us happy, healthy and beautiful, I believe. So I want to cook for my health as I can do.

Diary2-10; When I was born...

~Intro.~
Hi, how are you today? Now I'll tell you a interesting story. That is when I was born, may 18, 1988.

Can you steady speech your birth day's story? How you was born? How your mother felt? Is there something trouble? etc. Well, my story content a few dramatic things. Please listen to me.

~Living condition of FUJIMOTO family,1988~
In 1988, Fujimoto family lived in Ohzu. They are parents, grandparents and my elder sister, 5 years old. Mother was in the eight month of pregnancy. While, father was away from Japan on business. He was in the Philippines. All they lived together in a house.

You know my mother is a Filipina, so she was still to be new in Japan, too live well without her husband. So, father could speak Japanese and Tagalog well. Besides, among the family, only he could drive a car. Therefore, all they believed that he come back to all take care of her, less than one month before it has come the baby's due on July.

~Unexpected sudden birthday~
Buuuuttttt!!! Unfortunately, she has gone into labour in May 18!! It was two month faster to birth!! Grandparents and mother were so confused, "I don't know what we should do first!! Oh God! Oh God!"
Anyway, they had to carry her to the nearest obstetrics department. Then, I still wonder today what my late grandfather gave her a lift on his small motorcycle!! And he made her take hold of his back, went to there by one; I still shudder today at "If her labour felt so heavy, that she let go of his body...

He managed to arrive. Mother was writhing in pain while the labour, though the smaller baby was easily born in short time. She told "It was so easier than your sister, just like...soft st**l!! And you really looks like a monkey baby! Ha-ha-ha!" So, the baby is me. However I didn't first crying, so I was a very premature baby. My weight was only 1500 gram. Mother was safety.

Immediately an obstetrician took me to a bigger hospital in an ambulance. I had a narrow escape from death, and I had to stay in an incubator for fur month. After a few days later, father came back. Mother and grandfather already named me "Emiri(=恵美里)", then father was shocked a little. Because he had planned to name me "Hiromi(=弘美）" using a part of his name "Masahiro(=政弘)". But it was already late.
Mother loved a popular Japanese song "愛しのエリー" by Southern All Stars, at the time. You know, my name came from this song!

BR2-03: The Little Giraffe

Now I' ll introduce a book "The Little Giraffe". I chose this to review because I wondered about Giraffe in the book cover has not long neck. So I though it's surely interesting story. Well, I found two interesting point in this book.

First, the Giraffe and his friend, Rhino has same height. the view is strange, because the Giraffe is always taller than the Rhino. But the later half of the story, it will happen a interesting change.

Next, a wise old man's meaning of existence. It's the most important in this story. He is exactly key person. By the way, I'll briefly tell the plot of story.

Once, there was a first little Giraffe in the world. He and his friend Rhino lived in East Africa. They always looked for food, because they were hungry. But they hardly can get them in the dry earth. So they went to see the wise man for help. The man told them "Come back tomorrow, I'll make a magic drink for you."

The next day, only Giraffe visited him. Giraffe didn't know why he has been here. Anyway, he started to drink the magic drink. He grew taller and taller. So he got high height to find food.

While, Rhino had found some dry grass, and he forgot all about the wise man. Giraffe came to him, and he said "What happened to you!?" Giraffe replied "I drunk the magic drink." There was no magic drink left. Rhino angry with the Giraffe , the wise man and himself. Therefore, the Rhino is still angry today, and the Giraffe has high height today... END.

I thought the Rhino is pity. Because He missed a big chance to be well-off for eating. Besides, he might has been stylish looks like the Giraffe but he didn't drink the magic drink. When I saw this movie's DVD cover, I mistook the old woman for authentic. So I was surprised later that she, Mrs. doubtfire is a disguised MAN!! To watch this movie, I was impressed especially 1) Daniel's charming personality, 2) Petty funny troubles by Mrs. Doubtfire, 3) Unusual family's life style. These are my three interesting points. Well, I'm going to briefly introduce the plot of story.

The other side Miranda is so serious. In the end she flew into a rage at his untidiness, and finally she took up divorce.

―As he court result, she got the right of bringing up children, while he was permitted to meet his children only once a week. He and children were so sad.

―She says to hire a housekeeper for take care of three children while she is working. Then Daniel went to his brother Frank who is a special make up artist. The purpose is that to disguise as a woman!! Make use of the artificial looks and various voice, Daniel succeeded to be hire their housekeeper named Mrs.Doubtfire. You know, anybody don't notice that she is their father. Besides, Miranda have really taken to her honesty and seriousness... (to be continue)

Almost people must think that Daniel's personality is societal trouble. I think so, too. But I can't simply hate him. For example, When the tenant procedures, Daniel tried to make a landlady laugh in fun again and again. Although she is so formal woman, that she didn't smiled at all. She said "Do you think that is funny?" He replayed "No. I've know that right now."

In this way, he always in fun. But only when talk about his children, he become desperate and tearful eyes. I understood how he loves his children in the moment. And only toward a matter of his children, he is the most serious man. In my opinion, Mrs.Doubtfire's earnestness is the expression of Daniel's one usually be hidden by joking. That's way, I like his strange personality.

(2.Petty funny troubles by Mrs. Doubtfire)

I can strongly say "Mrs.Doubtfire's funny blunder make up fifty percent of this movie's interests"!! You think so too, don't you? My favorite scene is when she cooks, she scorched her forged breast! And she tried to put out the fire by lids tapping. The action really made me lough. Next, when her wallet was almost stolen in a street, she drove back like a man among men! I love the gap between her figure and his real voice! There are any more funny blunders in this movie. Tears, angry, love, many engaging contents is in this movie. But the best reason why I think I want to this again is, that her petty funny troubles are awesome!!

(3.Unusual family's life style)

After all of case was settled, Daniel got his new job and how to live. Since that, Miranda has a better opinion of him. Although the couple kept a separated to the very end, the familial tie surely continued for a long. I objectively understood the ending, but if I was Miranda, I would return to Daniel. Because I think the family is to be together. Actually there are many families just like Daniel's family around the world. I wish they keep getting along forever even if each they are in separated.

I learned a important thing from Daniel. That is, "You must to be strict toward your children, if you so love them. And sometimes praise them." At first, Daniel was to love his children too make them well-bred by scolding. But on the way that acting as Mrs. Doubtfire, he learned a figure of typical father little by little. I also learned that together. It's good thing to play with children. No, if anything, it's necessity. But if you hope their happiness, you should strictly train them. I want to do it in my future.

WR2-0２; My Holy Town, OHZU~My favorite place~

Have you ever heard Ohzu(=大津)? Ohzu is a town located on the north part of Kumamoto. So where is the foot of Aso mountain. A famous river Shirakawa flows though Ohzu. And the weather is so trouble. Really cold winter, and really hot summer every year. But I love this town than somewhere else. In Ohzu, There are good people, good nature, good food, good culture... And the first thing here is my home town! My lovable family live in here all the time. Now, let me boast of my hometown!!

Speaking of Ohzu, here is well-known as a strong Ohzu high school soccer team. I'm a graduate of the department of P.E. of the class 2007. Ohzu high school is famous for not only soccer team, but basketball, baseball and art. The soccer team take part in the all japan champion ship almost every year. The team of this year advanced to the semifinals!! I'm really proud of their activity.

Next is about "Horidashikun(=HDK 掘り出しくん)"!! I know you don't know that and you'll think "What's such a crazy name!?" Well, this is nickname of sweet potato what is harvested in Ohzu. HDK tastes as sweet as useless sugar. Usually we eat it after we cooked Tenopura, Dagojiru, Manjyu made from HDK. Of course, only boil or bake are also nice! The most famous food using HDK in Kumamoto is "Ikinari dango"! You've heard it , didn't you!? It's a steamed bum contains HDK and Japanese bean jam. I'm a Ikinaridango freak! Ha-ha. You could see the special shops throughout Kumamoto, so

let's try to eat if you've ever eaten.

By the way, Ohzu traditional "Karaimo Festival" is coming soon. It will hold at next Sunday(November 9). The festival's contents are artists concert, talk show, cooking contest using HDK, bazzaar, street stalls and so on. Beides, people could join the big event what you could dig and carry back sweet potatos as much as you like for 1000 yen! It's really profitable! Many families joyfully take part in this event every year. They usually get muddy in the end. I had pasted below Ohzu official website that you could see the details. Please see that later.

Third, Ohzu is comfortable town. Here is really rural, but there is also proper city when you get to the center of Ohzu. Almost the people will exchange greeting with you. So Ohzu people are all kind! By the way, my home is surrounded many nature, a primary school and a bate ball park. I'm always moved the sunset and sunrise from here to see. Here is Jinnai area in Ohzu. When we leave for north about 2km from here, we could get to the most prosper area. There are Jusco, Live(Karaoke box), 100yen shop, Tsutaya, Ohzu library, Ohzu station and so on. My friends and I used to play at Jusco or Karaoke after school, with eating HDK tenpura. This is called "Imoten". So I have full of confidence in guidance of how to play in Ohzu! Would you play in Ohzu with me someday!? Ha-ha^^

Finally, I'll tell you the most strong reason why I love Ohzu so much. That is, my dearest people and precious memories are in here. I had lived in only Ohzu all my life. A lot of friends and I are always get along, and we could talk about many good old memories. Among all of my friend, my old basketball team mates are the best friends. We used to have many hard time on the court of Ohzu J. high school's gym. And we used to lough, fight and cry together for a long time. I really long for those days.
And the first thing my family always warmly receive me. I'm sure I could keep myself being cheerful by their help, exactly. To tell the truth, recently my grandfather passed away. We have lost a member of family for the first time, so we are still in the saddest days we have ever had. So now I felt keenly what a blessing family is. When I go back Ohzu, I could sense that my late grandfather and my family warmly watch me. I know they continually give me selfless love and my friend give me energy. I can never thank them enough. In short, there are my treasures too much!! Therefore, I love Ohzu anyway. Here is ordinary place, but here is heaven for me! Why don't you come here once!? I'll guide you!

FW 2-0５; About "Acting"

I was overwhelmed by Daniel's acting and voice acting. I think if he hadn't had such talents, he wouldn't be employed and wouldn't surely have gone well the disguising as Mrs. Doubtfire.
I think myself I'm good at acting pretty well. So, that is mimic. I often do that when I want someone to laugh. For example, mimicking TV talents, animals, near friend and teacher!! Don't let this get any further, among my mimic repertoire, Mr. Perrier is best! I'm happy when my friends laugh whenever I mimic him.
Although, acting is not only what you make someone laugh, but necessary thing in society. Principle and practice often differ especially in Japanese office. You may consider the fact cowardice, but it's so natural in japan and almost country. I want to act on a suitable occasion , and say my true opinion after judging it carefully in my life.
